This class has taught me to think about the "so what?" behind everything that I write and to make claims and then back them up with evidence. I've learned to be less wordy and more concise. I've learned to think about my tone, diction, and to think about the audience that will be reading my work. I've learned how to better incorporate the use of both primary and secondary sources into my work. I think I can still further improve on always considering the "so what?" of what I am writing to make each claim more effective.
