Businesses use of Social Media
My topic for my research project is how companies utilize social media to expand clientele, create new products, and interact with fans/customers. I plan to examine the Mountain Dew facebook page, where their campaign to let customers vote for new soda flavors started, as well as Dominoes pizza and I will be talking to my sister about why her company (Money Concepts) does NOT use facebook at all. Each company is different and uses social media in a different way, taking customer feedback for free, creating new products that the customers ask for specifically, and using social media to open up the business to a new group of possible consumers.
